This beautiful place is located 20 minutes away from downtown Liberia,on the same road that leads to the Rincon de la Vieja National Park and Volcano,as soon as we arrive the experienced guides are waiting for us to begin with the adventure, they help us to put on our zip line equipment and give us the instructions, this zip line has 9 cables and 11 platforms, and the length of the cables vary from 500 feet to 1150 feet, and heights of 164 feet, having beautiful view of the Colorado river and its canyon, this activity takes about 1 hour. Let’s put on our rappelling equipment, but this next activity is optional, because it totally depends on each person physical condition as you have to rappel down a natural rock wall of 65 feet height and rock climb the same rock wall. Now let’s leave our zip line and rappel equipment aside but let’s keep our helmets on because we’re riding the horses through open areas and secondary semi-deciduous forest until we get to the river and depend on your choice, you float down the Colorado river onboard an inflatable kayak or onboard an adapted inflatable pneumatic!
After this activities we deserve a 100% organic Costarican lunch in the restaurant with view to the river. It’s time for the relaxing part of the day, we’ll enjoy a layer of volcanic mud on our skin and let the natural components help our skin looks renewed,to wash off the mud you can go in the clear waters of the Colorado river or just use the showers, now it’s time to enjoy the hotsprings pools, all of them with different temperatures from cooler to warmer, nothing better before going back to the hotel.
